Wilson Reis
Originally born in Brazil, Wilson Reis moved to the States several
years ago and originally worked construction upon his arrival. Having
received his black belt from famed Brazilian trainer and former Bad Boy
Fighter Roberto Godoi, it was always Reis’ intention to teach and train
jiu-jitsu on a full-time basis the U.S.
Fighting out of his adopted hometown of Philadelphia, the
high-energy Reis put down roots in the “City of Brotherly Love”
training and instructing at two of the city’s top MMA and BJJ
Academies, Daddis Fight Camps and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu United.
Having already established himself as a top competitive
grappler in Brazil after winning the brown belt division at the
Mundials in 2004, Reis transitioned into MMA while in the U.S. After
several successful amateur fights, Reis made his pro debut in 2007.
